THE OLD STABLE
CAMPING

Nestled in the shade of our magnificent copper maple tree, the Old Stables offers two bedroom, self -catering holiday accommodation: a perfect place to relax and unwind with friends or family.
Enjoy an al-fresco meal on the deck, while watching the river slipping by. Or relax in the cosy conservatory, snuggled under fluffy blankets. Sleep soundly in our two beautiful bedrooms in the peace of our tranquil valley.

The Camping Ground at Ecton Bridge is a pop-up, campsite, running during the school summer holidays.
Catering for tents only, it is situated on two level fields, ringed by hills and protected by mature trees providing a sheltered and tranquil site. The grassy banks of the river Manifold provide an ideal spot for a picnic, a paddle or perhaps a swim on a hot day. In the evening, light a campfire, toast some marshmallows, watch the sun go down and enjoy the stars.

GLAMPING FOR TWO

EXPLORE THE AREA

A choice of accommodation:
• Family Campsite
• Glamping
• The Old Stable

If you like the idea of camping, but like the idea of a comfortable bed more, then why not try our Glamping pitches?
Available for hire during July and August, our two traditional bell tents are pitched in our separate orchard paddock. Each tent comes with a comfortable raised double bed, crisp cotton sheets and a cosy duvet. All your needs are provided for, including a fire pit, to warm your toes, toast your marshmallows and watch the stars.
The Manifold Valley is an ideal base for your Peak District holiday. Running through the White Peaks area, the Manifold Track, a favourite for walkers and cyclists, runs for 8 1/2 miles along the route of the disused Leek and Manifold light railway. It begins at Hulme End, just two miles to the north, winding past Ecton Bridge along the valley to Waterhouses at the Southern end. The track is criss-crossed with walks and cycling routes, so is the ideal starting place to explore the lush valleys and rugged wild peaks of the area. The opportunities are endless; the adventure begins here.

"Spent three wonderful days and nights at Ecton Bridge campsite - clearly a labour of love for the owners who've created a magical and welcoming escape in a stunningly beautiful setting"

"What makes this site super special are the owners and all they do for their guests. We want to shout about it from the rooftops but equally don't want it getting too busy!

"Our children ended the day muddy, grassy, windswept and with the biggest smiles on their faces - what childhood should be about!"
